My not so mini English wheel

Picked up the big one today , that’s a 14’ transit .
Quick datum face on the top wheel bracket , even that’s 30kg so with wheel that assembly is going to be a heavy lump!

With the weight of that beast I would have been driving very slowly

Yeah definately looks like one i had one a while back fantastic bit of kit but almost had to give it away in the end :-(

I’m by no means an expert but I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to drill with the sharp end…

Recut screw to finer pitch
I had originally cut to match edwards but decided to go finer like my smaller machines that have good feel
