    Yes there are people who have made them from reciprocating saws too, plenty on youtube. Do not know how well they work though.

    Robin renzeti on YouTube converted a recip saw into a power scraper. With his meticulous nature its better made thsn a biax

    Yes saw it on pm forum.
    Also saw that the worlds only lineal scraper Richard King wanted the thread locked as he couldn’t accept the op being a scraper and a powered scraper other than a biax existing.

    The new steady turned up today. Holly faff.
