Hey guys/gals.
First project post. We have been building a Ldv camper for my boss at work when we had a bit of downtime now i am dabbling in the self built camper world.
So I picked up a LWB 2004 iveco daily with 123k on the clock, she looked good in the photos, after addressing a spot of damp I found a bit of rust
Now I'm in the process or cutting out the terribly patched floor, I hope to also rebuild new outriggers and reinforce the chassis where it has rusted through near the shock mounts. Wish me luck

whats it going to be anti mine shielding !! I used 1mm(flat) sheet on mine ,then 12mm ply for floor boards , I did how ever put a sub frame made out of 50mm box between arches (3mm wall) to strengthen as original members were shot , it carried pallets with 1 ton on it no problem , so I think your 3mm is a bit excessive , apart from anything else it will make it very difficult to weld the original thin tin too you will also be adding lots of weight.
