i do like watchin occ but one thing i have to say...
they never mod their frames or forks!!!. they just buy them in then just fabricate tanks, seats, and fancy bits, american hotrod? now thats another matter, them boys machine all their own bits, now thats the real deal.
dont worry chunkolini i have already lined the bars up with the tubes. its now time to make a lonnnngggggg!!! seat that will go just over the rear wheel to give me the right angle for the forks....
out comes the 3/4 ply and treaded bar for some proper hillbilly fabrication.lol
no sure what im gonna use for the covering. might use some camo fabric from some old camo trousers. gotta keep it hardcore..

You haven't watched enough episodes
they've built a jig to make frames and machined up a few different fork styles
dont be silly chunkolini, the 3/4 ply was reclaimed from a shuttering job and ive decided to use an old black fleece blanket used for covering stuff while grinding thats double layered for the seat cover, im paintin the whole frame signal red.!!!
the seat will obviously be black, the chain guard will be black and so is the handle bar mounting bracket.
im thinking it will look good.
ive just finished upholstering the seats.
i used 3/4 ply for the base.
1.5 inch black and red firm foam used in tool boxes for the padding and have just finished stapling the fabric over the seat and back rest.
ive also just cut the rear upright supports for the backrest at the required angle until i got summoned into the house by her indoors..lol

dont worry chunkolini. progress is goin well,
finished welding up the seat bracket the other night,
was a nightmare cos the tube is only about 1.2mm thick so arcing was a bit touch and go, ive used 1.2mm gussets on the corners to strengthen the upright part.
ive drilled and mounted the upright supports that go from rear bottom forks to the seat bracket, it all mocks up nice, just gotta paint it now,
my laptop died two days ago so having to resort to using my old desktop pc.
i,ll get some pics up shortly,

ive just heard on the grapevine that stephen hawkin is interested in this bike.
apparently he seems to think that the rake angle is so extreme that the sheer physics involved when riding this death trap at over 5mph creates a huge wormhole the re-appears back to 1955!!
im just making a packed lunch and ironing my going out pants for a ride tomorrow. just hope i dont need to run any 500amp cable to a clock tower during a thunder storm to get back again,lol
more pics to come soon once its finished.
