That set is supposed to have a full compliment of bihex metric, imperial AF and Whitworth, as well as a range of bisquare sockets, all the handles and accessories. It weighed 47lbs new, I am told. Quite the thing to lug around!

Metric ring open ended spanners. A few sizes missing, 15 and 20 are proving more elusive than I thought. As usual, larger sizes are thin on the ground too.

just returned the laugh when i said i had a missing socket and you laughed 
it did have the bi square when i got it. ive replaced them with impact sockets still got them somewhere. i remember using them on coach screws once and a chap in the workshop had a massive snap on collection but no bi square so he had to use a spanner, he was on the phone to his snap on man but they didnt do them. we didnt take the p*ss much.

Have a combined metric and af 1/2" draper set which includes the speed brace and a cheap b&q 1/4" drive set which came with lots of torx and hex bits. This gets a lot of use, replaced the ratchet with a better quality one. Never owned a 3/8" socket set, have a few specific sockets with adaptors for use as required. Do intend to get one, quite fancy some of the Teng Tools sets.

Found the breaker bar for the hex drive set. I didn’t even mean to collect this stuff, it’s just turned up here and there in lots I’ve bought.

Long story short, a fitter mate lost all his snapon gear to the great unwashed. In a desperate bid to carry on working he bought one of the bigger teng modular master kits. I asked how he was getting on with it and he reckoned there was enough in there to do pretty much everything he needed to do, that surprised me because he did have some kit, they are very well thought out kits .

I find 3/8 drive is great for working on cars, if you have a decent length breaker bar there’s not much you can’t do to be honest. Obviously having 3/8 and 1/2 drive is preferable (and 1/4 drive, and 3/4 drive….
) especially if you’re dealing with rusty stuff. Bahco do some very competitively priced sets; I don’t know what they’re like but I imagine they’ll be similar to Teng.

3/4 drive box found - bit rusty. Five of the eight sockets are missing and two accessories, plus the square key. Still, a rare find. Must have cost a fortune back in the day.

Koken is my go-to for doing any actual work on my car. The Z-series are slimmed down and shorter than the regular sockets and ratchets. Rocker cover bolts on an EJ20, try sliding a regular ratchet down there! Ideal for tight spaces and very sensitive ratchet unlike the clunker of a 20 tooth Britool ratchet
I recently got a set of Koken nut grips, they’re really something cool. Little spring loaded balls in the socket that hold bolts in, very useful when you’re sending a bolt down deep on the end of an extension.

I’ve seen those nut grips, I’m still using blue tack though!
