Same as 40/50 drawbar
Mt2 drawbar 10mm goes through the mt3 threads and retains both the mt2 and mt3, the mt3 has 12mm thread, just put the larger diameter drawbar in and give it a clunk.Using one like that, how is the MT2 item retained? It would need two connections, one between the MT2 item and the reducer and one more between the reducer and the machine spindle.
The spindle bore is smaller than the adaptors through hole as mentioned above.Mt2 drawbar 10mm goes through the mt3 threads and retains both the mt2 and mt3, the mt3 has 12mm thread, just put the larger diameter drawbar in and give it a clunk.
That was my first thought but looking at the very nicely made chuck, the cutters screw in to the collets. I think it is all one piece. This morning I made a new drawbar with a step just above the adaptor so I can now get it out.To save messing around with adapters can the arbour be changed on the chuck you have? If not an er25 chuck or similar isn't expensive.
