did an hour yesterday and got the doors stripped, passenger seat out and headlining cut inhalf. photos are of this stage. today i got the dash our wiring harness, heater box still to come out. subframe and steering gear is off aswell as the complete front end. prob wont have an update for 2 weeks unless we dont have much work in so will have more pics then
Would make sence to ebay the big bit and the expensive bits wouldn't it. You just need a free listing weekend and you have nothing to lose but no, what I don't use will get binned or go to scrap with the back end of the car
yep slowly, be even slower now im afraid, 4 weeks ago i asked the question on who will be paying for my cutting discs, gas and wire. still waiting and no more parts to remove so this car will sit until i have an answer it seems

got everything sorted, no money for consumables but alot of spares and a nice set of alloys, went in today and cut it. it still very heavy so needs to go on a diet!!! going to cut alot out of it, bulk head and alot of the stenghening in the a pillars and sills and chassis rails, its going to have fram inside so the strengh of the car isnt a huge issue. the inside and outside (undeside) is going to get covered in black stone chip so im hoping it will cover alot of missing pannels etc
enjoy
i jacked the front of the car up to get it level, measued the distance between the floor and sill on both sides so it was spot on.
marked the line across the roof, its at an angle so it pointed slightly towards the maion road we are based on, got some string and added a weight at each end and found my vertical lines (this is why i got the car level) measured both sides and are both spot on so the string idea worked.
welded the doors shut and set fire to the carpet
got the angle grinder out and went to work. the worst bits were the a pillars and sills!!
thanks for the replys, have a little look for an hour today. got the doors, wings and bonnet off to see what material can be cut out. there is alot!. will take alot of cutting or as its all spot welded together i might be able top use an air chissle so break the spots? alot of strenghing material can be removed. may make the car abit more flimsy but the frame i will make will keep it all together. i might removed the floor and bulk head as yet anmd cover the bottom with some kind of plastic. at the moment its just to heavy
