Hiya, picked up a solid looking 16" cutoff saw last nice for pretty much no money. Looks like it might be a Chinese copy of a pukka one (although it looks quite old so not a recent one). Has a 3HP motor on it but is single phase.
Anyway, want to change all the wiring to update it but tried to fire it up to check it out. Initially motor kicked in then blew the 13A fuse in the plug a couple of seconds later so something not happy.
Ignoring the state of the input wires () does the layout look correct?
Also when testing with an ohm meter I get a circuit across the U1/U2 terminals - is this correct?
