I seem to remember something about being able to use a long screwdriver to inspect hard to reach areas

My local testing station has a board mounted on the wall labelled ‘ mot tools’ one of which looks like a toffee hammer…seen the tester using it on my Fiesta on one occasion when I watched..

This what we use, or a thumb.

Never heard about the screwdriver personally.

To put it to scale this is probably size of your hand, plastic end iirc.

You can't go hammering at stuff either.

lol ,,, Ive a 4oz hammer with a pick end on it ,, I use it to asses land rover chassis ,, its effectionatly known as the millionaires hammer ,

when it comes out the customer had better have cash , as its going to get expensive .....

im also known for telling people ,,,, '' its a welder ,,, not a wand '' .

Don't get into repair on "non-metallic" structures . . . not allowed in prescribed areas . . .

If you repaired it pre test and ‘blended it in’ I wonder how that would get on.

Had a poke round our Scout Minibus on Friday, still solid.

Might treat it to some ZG-90 zink paint, really impressed with that.
