Mini/Micro digger cheap chinese okay

At nearly 6 ton that is slightly out of the mini excavator category, plus has 3 cylinders more than most micros

Very true, however size does matter in many ways. What i am putting forward is it is chinese. It was the price of a second hand Kubota with about 5000hrs on the clock and it has three years warranty. Just saying

Its also a very difficult prospect to some of the machines on here. Xcmg are one of if not the biggest construction machinery manufacturer in the world producing machines to compete with Western brands. The same as sany and luigong.
The machines being mentioned here are not intended or marketed towards professional environments and lack quite important things that will severely hinder their ability and durability.

Again, would you care to come back and comment on the pictures I put in response to your earlier worries as to whether the one I'm looking at lacks these important things?

Not the one your looking at. It seems relatively well specced. The only thing I would say is you are probably better off buying from a UK dealer rather than China and making sure you buy the exact machine you drive. All machines from all brands can drive badly due to set up but I think the chances of you getting a decent fitter out to adjust flows on one of those machines would be very slim,it is a hard enough prospect on main stream brands. I would also check as some of the Chinese machines, despite looking the part, have a clause saying not for commercial use, while this of itself isn't a problem, there was a brand called carter for sale that quickly became apparent this was due to the lack luster build quality. They seem to have disappeared from the marketplace now.

But there have been several machines posted that are definitely missing major components like reduction hubs and kingposts.

She/He's just doing their job, until you say you have bought an "xyz" they will try to sell you their product.

It’s just a cultural difference. Same way in some shops in France if you don’t go in intending to buy something they consider you rude and a time waster.

With sales people like that I go with ‘I am waiting on funding approval from our purchasing department/ have an appointment with the bank to secure a loan. The next meeting is (3 weeks time) I will update you after that.’ If I want to be left alone.

Edit: if you’ve decided If you’re not going to order then just tell them that! ‘I’m still thinking about it’ is just begging for them to keep trying to persuade you.
