Run a grinder disc along then to vee them a bit, weld up, grind back, move on, especially if you are not bolting anything back on.
I did that to cracks in a bodyshell that was 10 yrs old - ten years after that when I had doubled the mileage, while towing a lot of trailers with the hitch I fitted, they hadn't reappeared.
I might not apply that technique to an aircraft, racing car, access platform, bridge etc . . .
