Something i discovered many years ago on one of my weight loss binges, using an online calorie counter program: ‘Portions’ are usually ridiculously, ludicrously small.Digital scales are broken, not that I have been trying to change anything recently !
How is it going for you @JOEPRO ?
I suspect the reason I was not loosing weight is partly this, note the full looking bowl in picture as the serving suggestion. Then note the red boxes and the "based on 30g serving"

My small and empty looking bowl above contains 30g, a single small scoop.
Below is the roughtly what I normally have, 5 scoops tho I used to have 4. About the same fullness as the bowl on the box.

Yes common sense should have told me that its extremely sugary and can not be healthy to eat in any quantity, but its easyto ignore this...
It also explains why I am not getting 16 servings out of a 500g box, only 3 or 4!
All those red flags on the box might not be helpingDigital scales are broken, not that I have been trying to change anything recently !

theres no time for food when leaving home before 8am
......theres no time for food when leaving home before 8am!
Think you're quite right with this...my regime has been very simple. Before I eat anything all I do is ask myself if I'm hungry! It’s that finely balanced
I cannot remember ever feeling hungry. I've been working and missed 3 meals in a row without feeling hungry. If I didn't eat at regular times I probably wouldn't eat.Think you're quite right with this...my regime has been very simple. Before I eat anything all I do is ask myself if I'm hungry!
Most of the time I found I'm just habit eating...it's hard to break that habit initially I think as I used to basically eat based on the time of day...every day!
I do a lot of physical work and excersise so I do need a good balance of the red flags..
A pound of body fat contains 3500 calories. Your body saves excess calories as fat.
If you eat just 100 calories per day more than your body needs (eg 1 slice of bread or a digestive biscuit) you will gain approx 10.5 pounds per year.
Conversely if you eat 100 calories per day less than your body needs you will lose 10.5 pounds per year.
It’s that finely balanced. Plus as we get older we don’t need as many calories due to reduced muscle mass and reduced physical activity.
Brutal, but you're still eating too much.My weight is now, exactly the sameI am only a bit fat, but its still rather annoying
My "eat only when hungry" approach seems to be working for me...your body basically just adapts I think.Brutal, but you're still eating too much.
