As a preface to my question, I have too many welders already (MMA, MIG, DC-TIG, AC-TIG). But my main go-to machine is a Thermal Arc 175TE which I love to bits. However, I hate taking it away to a job. It gets really homesick. Also, when I am up a ladder, while the machine is small and light and has a strap, it's still a bit cumbersome. So I was thinking about buying a micro arc welder. Not something expensive but ideally something reliable. Size is the key here. 120 amps is enough for my needs though 140 is fine too.
Options I've found as follows:
1. Parweld XTS 143 - very small and has a decent warranty. £105 on scamazon
2. Static Arc 140 - not quite as small and no reviews I've found. £60 direct
3. Draper Storm Force 120 - even smaller than the Parweld and again no reviews anywhere. £62 on fleabay
Does anyone have anything to share about the above or does anyone know of similar options which I should consider?
