Hello again everyone...been a while since I've been about.
Anyway, I recently purchased a car for my girlfriend (she is away at the moment, it's a suprise). It's only for a year then hopefully with a year no claims she can have something else.
Anyway, pics are at work so will upload those tommorrow.
It's a K11 Micra, 1999 CVT auto (Licence requirements). The CVT seems to give a good mix of performance and economy, using the one litre engine. I found a cheap one that had been knocked about a bit...
It drove the 100 miles home no issues, so I set about making it look a bit better and also servicing it properly. However, having got into all that, I realised it required some welding inside one rear arch, some cosmetic welding on the rear valance, and...the biggest pain, the front crossmember. I've spend the day stripping the front ready to start drilling bits out so I can drill the spot welds, and tomorrow I will see how long the parts will take. I hope not too long : (
Wish me luck!
