Looks cracking and I like your pargeting. If you find a way to make the hood seal to the top of the windscreen do take photos. My hood hasn't been up for 20 years as I stay dryer with it down.

30 years ago I found a tub of Vaseline did the trick, smear it along the top of the windscreen before erecting the hood, easily removed when the hood comes down, not dissolved by rain, the pargeting was done with white cement, white sand and lime, not been cleaned in 40 years, still has traces of oak sawdust from the stamps,

I HATE FITTING HOODS!!! I bought this hood very cheaply at the Enfield Pageant a good few years ago, started to fit it and realised that the flap across the front to go down onto the screen and the Hidem strip are both missing, bought some red Hidem strip, just need to get a mate to sew up a flap, fortunately one of my J40 pedal cars came with a full roll of dark red rexine / leather cloth, non stretchy type, the hood is mostly fitted, will finish the front edge later. I need to slightly move a couple of the "lift the dot" fasteners just below the rear side window!
