Give them a ring and ask how strict their age limit is.
You might find it's more of a guideline...

In a lot of cases they are finding their feet.

It doesn't have to be just woodwork.
When I joined mine it was just woodwork and garden related plans.

We are branching out as I said. one member now makes her own charcoal.

We some members I have set up a small metal fab area. One thing we make is metal wedges for tools we have to refubuish and pass on.

Where hey are, they just don't have the space, they are in an unused shop just off the high street, they don't really have the space to do woodwork

We are in a 12 X 15 building with plans to move into bigger place. We did not have enough funds to start any bigger.

The one in our town is similar sized, only they seem to do a lot of furniture restoration, which is not my thing, if they move into bigger premises then it's worthwhile joining, probably for everyone's benefit, but I don't want to do furniture restoration, I don't mind a mix of metalwork and woodwork, but I don't want to rock their boat, by coming in and changing its direction, when they don't have the space, maybe I should go and talk to them.

Another shed near me was just doing furniture restorations for selling of for charity.

They had items what were stuck as no one knew how to fix broken brackets, fixings, tools. Or even how to remove broken screws.
A new member went along to see what it is all about.

He now does classes in the shed on stuff he knows.

Then you cut the Oaks down and turn them into something useful?

Then turn the wood into furniture.
Then in a few years allow it to fall into dis-repair.

Then this will allow Sheds to open to allow it to be restored, then from that oak might acorns will grow, see.

Our shed is 2 minutes walk from a pub, a pub with good ale. The pub were some members park their cars. The pub were the real ale keg stand was made by me.
The pub what is easy "walk" ish from home. The pub I like.

Bridge Hotel is closed, and has been for a while.

Afaik, the workshop & yard site Seller is hoping to sell it for house/flat development.
