They're such a great idea, anyone a member; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-42426777
I think they're a great thing for the older generation that live on their own. Gets people hands on again, Out the house & keeps the mind busy!
Was thinking itsa shame younger generations arent involved. Skills need passing on glad to see it does happenNot just old people, not just men.
Each shed is different.
Each grows in it's own way.
We have members from 16 to 92, male and female.
We have an allotment, a shed and plans to grow.
We also have plans to set up an E bay account to sell our surplus tools and equipment.

One of mine, a trailing Ivy pot stand. Made from a pallet.
I've been thinking about popping along to the one in Ellon. It's near by and open a couple of days during the week, so I could go on a day off. Be good to see what its about and see if I can lend a hand or learn a few new things. There seems to be a common theme, guy sitting at home watching tv annoying the wife, and she suggests he goes and joins and he loves it. Sounds like a win win

I thought there was a lower age limit of fifty or am I getting mixed up with something else?
