Ha, I doubt it. I just think subconsciously I know my life is too busy to waste time boozing. I was definitely a binge drinker in my younger days. But I could always say no so I wasn’t to concerned.Do you think that's your liver sending you a message?![]()
I usually stop on my birthday in November, my record is 7 months dry. It is amazing how much better you feel physically and mentally and you are so much more productive!!
It’s when them warm summer days arrive my resolve breaks
damp January ..I'm on Carryonanurary.
yea rules for one rules for anotherJust watched the second episode and was surprised to see they allow bosses, managers etc. to wonder round the site in shirtsleeves while everyone else has to wear hi-vis, hard hats etc.

So, I think I heard this correctly, the new loft extension is £100,000 a night.
I struggle to imagine what sort of human emotion I could derive after opening ones wallet for that.
It depends where abouts in the project they are tbh the show doesn't give a bigger Enough picture of the site. Hi vis is only required around moving machinery, hard hats are only required with the risk of head contact with falling flying or moving objects. If the site is not live then at the time then their is no need to wear the ppe. It even says so in hse official guidance. Everyone done up in hard hat and hi vis has nothing to do with hse. It is the companies own policy. I'm sure I can't be the only person to have watched painters inside a finished house wearing hard hats due to company policy.
Spot on. He lost that one in the end though (and just made himself look like a complete tool in the process). And as for that Remi geezer. Where does he get off talking to people like that. I’ve met a few like that in the past and I see others just letting them spout off and talk down to them because they don’t want to upset them and risk losing the job etc
I’ll tell them how it is, what I can achieve, and if they don’t like it , then good luck finding your rainbow unicorn mate![]()
