Material for wood burner flue

I've said this before,it doesn't have to be round,why not make your own up box section style

as long as it equals the area of the internal it can be any shape it wants to be

im considering buying some flat bar and making a hex section...just need to do the maths and work out distance a/f and what size material to use etc but i havent been to bed since 4am yesterday so im not doing it tonight lol 12 hour shift, 2 hours at home thena call to go back in and fix the machine i run...its terminal so back home after about 3 hours, call a few hours later, we have found some parts but need someone here to set up so we know if it works...it didnt, that brought me up to 4am...bit of breakfast then back to work for 12 hours...

i use the flexi stainless flue liner if you can find some one who insalls it thay normaly have lots of of cuts i get my bits from a log burner and fier place shop that has a couple of guys that go round lineing flues fo new fiers an burners
