Ok, may not be very good at posting a thread about this but will give it a go,
A good few years ago I built up a Silver Hawk from parts gathered over 10 years, rode it for three years then had to sell it, time has come to build another, they only sold 504 from 1930 to 1935. In 1930 they built around 50 so they were represented at the September motorcycle show and available for press road tests etc. most were built and sold in 1931, by 1933 they were just using up parts stock, not a good bike to try to sell in a depression,
Here is a short fat bloke riding a Hawk, the reason for the piano is there was just too much wind noise!
and here it is with it's new owner, well new owner 8 years ago.
He is not someone to upset, has friends in very high places!
