Yes, but not a surpriseIf you deliberately touch an electric fence; does it still count as a shock?
Old game keeper's trick, or farmer's who knows - hold a leaf, touch the fence with the leaf, to tell you if it's live or not and hurt a lot less than just touching it.
Seeing as this thread has swerved off topic already... I've been shocked a few times, 240v, still here, first time when 2 years old I've heard electricians say they've been shocked lots of times too with no ill effect. Do you develop a resistance to it do you think?
