I use a 3HP 50 litre compressor with a similar gun and also one that takes more air. You should be fine. Check your gun for air leaks. Sometimes the nut on the trigger comes loose.

Does the compressor run continuously ?

Yes you can couple them together, that's what I did, I also coupled the electrics but that's not really necessary.

No. Spraying a rear quarter it kicks in a couple of times.

as far as I remember the internal diameter of those taps is very narrow check it and if that's the case remove that aswell

Good setup, What type of hoses are you using ?

The hose form the shed to the garage is 10mm as are the spraying hoses. The hose on my tool reel is only 8mm but it seems fine for my tools.

Once I start spraying both compressors run pretty much flat out, my guns are "compliant" so take more air than a LVLP gun and the mask is also pretty greedy.

I have both a big LVLP gun and a small touch up one.

The cheap regulator gauges that attach to the guns have a poor reputation. I have a regulator at my wall point and leave the regulator at the gun fully open. I adjust the wall regulator to get the gun gauge pressure correct with the gun trigger at the air only position. When I want to start or restart spraying I always pull the trigger to the air only position until the pressure stabilises before I start to spray.

Thanks , seems to help a lot, but I found I had to increase the pressure well above to get the paint atomising correctly
