I used to worry about the new multi-storey carpark at work, a few times I was sitting in my car as another drove past and you could feel the floor bounce.
You do know what a burning battery gives off don't you?
Hydrogen Fluoride HF, Phosphorus Pentafluoride (PF5) and Phosphoryl Fluoride (POF3) amongst other things, makes a mere bit of Chlorine look positively nice in comparison.
If there is ever an EV battery fire nearby (or indeed a car park on fire regardless of "what started it") I would be driving upwind and staying there until it had all blown over...

What about the airport response vehicles, were they brought into play since the airport was closed to aircraft? No mention so far about them? 
From footage they appear to throw foam/water from a large 'stand off' position if an aircraft catches fire on landing.

with evs its going in its own bay with walls either side
it will also have its own ibc water tanks at the rear with all the valves connected to one output so that all the ibc's water thats collected from rain water goes into the tank
push the button it opens the valve fills fast and therefore puts the fire out
i suspect you will need 6-8 ibc's to fill the tank

They sent their normal fire wagons.
The aircraft ones are still required on the airport in case a plane goes up.

There is a regulatory hierarchy. Airport fire service is responsible for the airfield. County fire service is responsible for the terminals and buildings landside. AFS will respond to a fire landside because they may get there first but will hand over to County on their arrival who will take charge. Similarly AFS will respond to an incident airside, however if it's in a building airside County will again take charge on arrival leaving AFS to cover the airfield. If the runway is closed, they will of course assist County if requested.
