Good idea, it's no good for wiping your bum as the Daily Mail is already covered in carpDuring my recent trip to Wales, copies of the Daily Mail were supplied to aid lighting the fire.

The BRV's are certainly quicker response, I've noticed a few times if Billesley turn out both vehicles the BRV will pass our house a good couple of minutes before the pump.

Convert all the roads into canals and use boats. If a boat catches fire pull the bung so it sinks and the fire is extinguished. Problem solved.

It's bad enough being on a one pump station, where you get 5 on the PRL.
It would not surprise me if that requirement has now been altered.![]()
CFRS have had them for a few years, they carry a crew of 5 and are more suited for the villages, narrow lanes etc. they have to cover.

A common mistake by many. There is no Lithium metal in Lithium ION batteries The term ‘ion‘ should be clear to everyone who knows anything about battery chemistry. These batteries are nothing remotely similar to lead/acid batteries - which do have metal plates and should never have lead in the electrolyte.
Lithium metal, at room temperature only reacts slowly with water - look up the trend in Group 1 of the Periodic Table - but the hydrogen released could, of course, be an explosion risk when mixed with oxygen.
