I did here a tale years ago about a coal mine that lost a hired JCB! Once had to get the rather large skip emptied as we thought something had been thrown away!

well tidying the van out I noticed id lost my probe tester I have about 5 but it was the newest with led indicators . was working on a job today and I happened to find it next to the mains cupboard .must have left it there 4 weeks a go when testing happy days

I went to use a wooden school ruler and wondered why it looked wrong when I tried to measure something. It was then I discovered that they had the inches divided into tenths! Checked all the other rulers & they are in tenths too! How on earth can you measure 1/4" with one of those rulers!

The only 12" ruler I have with the inches divided into 1/8ths is an engineers stainless steel one.

Please gents those rulers are designed to confuse the fairer sex. They are not designed to measure, only boast,

6 years ago, working in a care home, I left my Mac Head torch.
I didn't realise until a few days later.
I resigned my self to being lost.

Today, with the new company we were back on the site.
In the battery cabinet was the head torch.


Shame I binned the charger years ago.
