have you seen the thickness of the lift chain on a 1 ton block and tackle ,,,, just saying .

Yes the chain on my bath plug is heavier

built a frame /chasssis (adjustable feet) for my student and bridgeport and then used a pallet truck......
it's so handy for long jobs I can move stuff about to get it in and a once a year workshop clean....

well this came as a surprise

I wasnt looking for this but found it and will do the job fine

Can is show the size, has 12mm bolt holes so a coupe, of through bolts will do.

Thinking on i have some 25x10mm bar here so it mite better to make a 150x50x10 bar and weld this to that and drill a mounting hole further back as its going in concrete, these hole are a bit close together for a good base to bolt to. .

i havnt seen this thing in ages aswell ha ha, mite have another route again tomoz to see what i find.
