Long car trip break down supplies?

Car packed tonight, headed in the am
Full spare wheel, jack, tyre inflator etc under the carpet. The only oil I took with me is the hydraulic suspension fluid which I wouldnt easily find on route if needed.

Good assortment of hose clamps and cable ties with me bottom of the bag. MB diagnostic laptop and power probe. Hopefully I wont need any of it. I guess ill find out how tomorrow goes

When I was a nipper I took my T120r Bonneville for an etended tour of pre EU europe, on the advice of many I was loaded with spares and tools. Never used any of it and they were taking up very valuable space, gave most of the oddsnsodds away to fellow European Triumph owners that stopped and talked bike. My list of places to stay and freeload was of more value, bit like Fred Dibnah

If the gauge is to be believed, at one point today it was pulling 28mpg. Thats impressive for the weight, class and V12 Biturbo engine.

It's probably like the Range Rover we have, engine has so much power and torque that despite being a big lump of an engine and hauling 2.75t of luxury around the engine is hardly getting a workout once it's up to speed and cruising down the motorway.

I towed a 20ft trailer with some pallet racking down to @reb78 in Cornwall from home in South West Wales. Okay I wasn't pushing it and sitting at the limit on the cruise control but that big 4.4 litre twin turbo lump of an engine averaged 35mpg on the entire run. Once it's up to motorway speeds it's more or less just ticking along at idle and with 700Nm of torque it doesn't need to drop out of 8th for most things.

A friend with a Raptor running 2l eco boost or whatever it is is drinking diesel at the best of time because the engine is working so much more to keep it there.

90L I think... but I refilled once with 3rd tank left
