You really aren’t helping the’old cars are cheaper to maintain than new ones’ mantra that seems rife at the moment…A Pair of spare coil packs would be several £k (one large handed coil pack per cylinder bank. 24 spark plugs)
But yes any other car a spare coil pack would be a good idea.

Anyway- are you back safe and sound yet??
Probably wise to go on this trip asap before fuel prices go crazy!

Filled the tank this morning - it is what it is. The V12 deserves all the liquid dinos it can burn![]()
How far will that get you?
Barely out of NI, but that's a minor detail
Is there much difference in fuel prices once you cross the border?

Full spare wheel, jack, tyre inflator etc under the carpet. The only oil I took with me is the hydraulic suspension fluid which I wouldnt easily find on route if needed.
Good assortment of hose clamps and cable ties with me bottom of the bag. MB diagnostic laptop and power probe. Hopefully I wont need any of it. I guess ill find out how tomorrow goes
Don't forget the wife & kids , to keep you away from the pretty colleens. They can be very very captivating ( Guess how I found that out ?
).
