i migth learn something here, but it says suitable for all welding positions, also suitable for top weld. whats top welding?

That's what I thought when I checked out the specs for E4322, obviously who ever wrote up the bumf on the box didn't have a clue about welding positions. I'll be using them for flat welding and perhaps some fillets, but not much else.
I've just used 3 of those new rods and they're certainly different to the Phoenix 6013's, that's for sure. They're not as easy as the 6013's to strike and are less tolerant of a long arc length. They do seem to need a touch welding technique that was suggested by TIG Paul in another thread. Also they seem to splatter a lot even with the current turned down and a short arc length. Having said all that, I think they are still better than the SIP one's I've had.
I'm embarrassed to publish the photos as they look rough, but what the hell - I'm here to learn.
