I often found what seems to be good for the builders, isn't so good for fabrication. Possibly because wood etc is much softer than steel. Like everything it depends how much you use your tools and how hard you use them. I do have a preference to metabo power tools because the ones i have previously owned have. Take for example a the dewalt 4.5inch angle grinder 900w input , with output power of 410w and priced around £44.00 or the metabo 700w input grinder with output of 460w (so nice of dewalt to make a power ineffecient motor to add to global warming) price at about £54 thats £10 more expensive. by the way one manufacturer gives a 3yr warrenty of there grind the other a year. I let you work out which is which. As far as i know one is made in the far east and one isn't.

I bought a pair of the fire extinguishers last time they had them, aint used them but they seem ok quality! Got them both fitted in my van
