Probably not but removes the silly user error when someone connects it to too high pressure/damp air which would rust out the internals.Folks.

Is my Lidl Plasma cutter and compressor set-up. Apologies for the dodgy photo . Compressor is a Clarke 24 litre that is, according to the manual, 8 bar max working pressure with a max flow rate of 7 cu.ft/min.
Question - does it need a separate filter and regulator in the air line between the cutter and the compressor?

Neh, bought a 3ph plasma 15 years ago, never misses a beat. You bought the lot?
Was going to buy some soon, they're all the same so just get the cheapest. Remember the copper pieces are 39mm long ones not the short version so the 100pc sets are unusable for us and we can only use the 40pc sets.I have the plasma with internal compressor but need to buy some consumables. Have any of you folks bought bought tips etc that you have tried and are OK - if so could you provide a link please
I have seen a few sellers on ebay but I don't want to buy cr*p, so would always prefer to go from a users recommendation.
Many thanks
Mick
Let me help https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273019546616They are different, @roofman linked to a correct set which are the same but I can't find the post.
The pilot arc ones are different again...
I have changed your post for you...your welcomeWe have them back in NI this week so keep an eye out for them three plasma cutters in GB soon!
It's a 200v dc air compressor that's built in so you can't retrofit one to the non compressor model without the power supply and it wouldn't fit either. What is the built in compressor the Aldi plasma uses and can you get one and retro fit it to the model without the compressor ?
