I'm now seeing google ads with this Lidl Plasma Cutter!

That "Multi-purpose Air Tool" ( £79.99 ) is a weird thing .... an air-powered garden spade ?

Game Theory at work.
Do we queue up half an hour before opening time on the assumption that all the local DIYers and Tradesmen will be racing to buy one or;
do we hold back and go in every day until they are on clearance because they stocked them mid-month when no-one had enough spare cash, or didn't really know what they were, or if they did know already had a bigger/better/more expensive one?
Hm, makes the choice to use a Snipe on eBay look easy.

An electrically operated one sounds like a better option as I'm sure a large volume compressor would be required for the one mentioned. Think I'll look into it, as I have about a hundred feet of narrow and shallow drainage ditches to dig. The soil is almost as hard as concrete to try and dig with a pick.I used one of those to strip an epoxy floor coating off prior to re coating it. It was 110v, not air & it was hired in for the job after trying other methods to strip the floor without success.
A strange tool indeed, a cross between a jack hammer & a spade but for doing that job it worked brilliantly. Also commonly used to strip off wall & floor tiles.
a very dramatic video of this machine from the manufacturer...
1200 watt isn't much for a chop sawMetal chop, upto 50mm £40, quite cheap!
