I know, I was just about to comment that Primas made a great transplant to replace Landrover 2 1/4 diesels... Doh!I think we have just hijacked and derailed someone's project thread

Now that sounds interestingMy last derailing comment, the guy helping me with my camper rebuild has a 400 cab and chasis, swb, with a Merc 6 cylinder turbo engine in it. Soon to have a set of Rangerover axles under it...
Bedford CF 1LDV 400 front disc brakes make a good upgrade for Mk1 Bedford ????? vans with drum brakes!
Nope, its a dog, pull it out and stick an DI inAccording to this it’s got a EN55 (non turbo’d version of the two) pug engine. Which fingers crossed is good news
Well, you've got 5+ years to think about itNow that sounds interesting
It should be OK. Firstly because it's all interesting info, and secondly because if the OP has a 400 with the non-turbo pug lump he needs to get used to not getting to the point (or anywhere else) very quickly.I think we have just hijacked and derailed someone's project thread

Not worried about going quickly, only 5 miles to most places it’ll need to go. More worried about long steep hills! It should be OK.
