When you say no rads get warm when only on hot water was they doing this before the new valveIt's a Worcester boiler,
No rads get warm when just on hot water.
'Engineer' changed the divertor valve for £150 and no change even though he said it was fixed. Looks like it's at the age where you work your way through it but by bit.
but the plumber and another mate reckon the rust inhibitor may well give the heat exchanger another lease of life an djust help ease things off.
Nothing to lose.
That leaky valve did have me panicking properly, a nasty moment. I would never have thought shut it and open it again. So simple.
And so obvious when you look at it.
