Expanding ammunition must be on ticket whether complete rounds or a head.
Non expanding ammo only seems to be counted when made into rounds, but I don't know if you can legally hold them without a certificate or not.
Cases and primers never go on ticket and you don't need a certificate to hold them.
I've only ever had interest in rifles using expanding ammo for vermin control, so can't say whether you are OK or not.

Only slightly. You need a certificate to possess expanding ammunition, eg hollow points but hollow point bullets on their own are not expanding ammunition and lead SWCs most certainly are not. You do need to show your FAC when buying primers now but they are not entered on to it like loaded ammunition is. Once having bought your primers you can quite legally give them away to anyone else but not sell them.

Expanding ammunition is classed as S5 and do count whether loaded or not, you certainly must hold a certificate for them at all times.
Whether you can hold non expanding ammo without a certificate is what I don't know, but expanding is certainly a no.

Sorry I misinformed you - hadn't realised that expanding missiles on their own are certificate items. Solid missiles like you have are definitely not required on ticket unless loaded into complete rounds. I have been casting and selling custom bullets for vintage firearms for years without any legal problems.

No trouble, my area has always been shotguns and rifles using expanding ammo so the laws surrounding solid projectiles have never been of importance to my use.
A lot of it makes no practical sense anyway, 'expanding' isn't simply whether it expands on impact but whether it's designed to or not.
Plenty of ammo will expand significantly but isn't classed as such, so somehow 'less dangerous'.
