Ive just seen this DSG on fleabay, as it's not to far from me I was thinking about having a look and maybe a punt. Besides the usual bits does anyone know what I should be looking for. I know they say nice things about the DSG's but as for spares availability I have no idea. Also, what size inverter/converter will I need to run a 7.5 horse motor.
Forget about buying parts whatever lathe you buy, the cost will make a nun cuss. As for the 7.5HP required to run it. I would be looking at your incoming supply,and what the demands are upon now. As it will stretch it to the limits ie No oven on while running it, no Shower etc.
