I suppose at this point then I'm looking at a van or pickup that is very reliable, ideally cam chain drive engine.
Add Blue wise it wasn't an issue with filling just the fact it's something else to go wrong, clogged up injectors etc. The whole system seemed an afterthought to get cars through Euro 6 onwards emissions testing.
Suprised the HiLux isn't as reliable as I thought it would be, the one I used was in daily use towing a 1.5 ton trailer at a driver training school so I would have thought if they were that bad they would have chosen something else.
Sodds law whatever I buy it will have some form of issue.
Just don't want to have to go through this again, all our money tied up into a lemon..
This was 100% poor design by Ford and tonbe honest don't trust them at all now.
