You really didn't like it then

I was just gobsmacked that Samsung are selling a top end phone, to discerning users (I buy a top end Galaxy S phone because I like the design, power and technical qualities) but then bundling it with a computer with absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever. It dilutes the quality of their brand IMO, even though they also do the lovely Galaxy book as well, which is a real computer.
It was exactly as if they had a load of parts left over from midrange computing 2 decades ago (the screen came straight from early 2000s) and decided to throw them all together as cheaply as possible to make a product to sell.

Awful.

Do you get the sense that I didn't care for it? To be fair, it made me £80 cash back so not all was lost... I just felt bad for the person buying it!

I'm by no stretch of the imagination a Chromebook lover, but to be fair, they're not all sh1te. I have an HP one here that I use occasionally for work, and it's really not bad for a Browsing Machine.

We recently bought a company that issued Chromebooks to it's sales people, and some of them REALLY love their CBs! When the time comes to retire them, they will be getting PCs instead though. Historically they have not proven to be all that robust for business use - evidently their IT Dept had dozens of knackered ones in the cupboard!
