Hard to argue at that price!
ThankyouPlenty options for decat pipes for L200s, and relatively cheap.

I see now, just put a length of pipe where the cooler was. http://www.l200.org.uk/community/index.php?PHPSESSID=e3e53c67b12ba0009b18f31f83ca67b7&topic=32984.0No worries - I know facebook is a love-or-hate kind of thing, plus we're all very friendly over here, anyway
Yeah - the EGR is a horrible contraption that pushes the exhaust gas back into the engine to lower emissions. The (serious) downside is that you get carbon buildup in the inlet manifold that can choke off the air supply, increasing fuel consumption and ultimately gumming it up.
On the early model L200s (pre 2006) it's very straightforward to blank off the EGR - you just need to make or buy a blanking plate, remove the EGR and blank it off (with a gasket).
On later models it's far more complex because the electronics get all upset if the EGR is removed. It's an extremely common update on the early L200s though.
@123hotchef - any comments?
My stainless steel exhaust runs where the wheel used to be.Just out of interest, are any l200 owners doing something with the way the spare wheel is held? My dad had an identical l200 years ago and we added a strap around the spare. Theres only a weedy looking rusty chain holding it up and the winding mechanism looks flimsy aswell.

The wheel is supposed to be in my tub but has been in the back garden since the summer![]()
Here you go.I tried to find the picture of AlanG's truck with the spare on the back, failed
That doesnt look good to me. I like the spare under the tub, but just not how its held. I will look at tying it awsell so its not just hanging by the chain.Here you go.

Have a guess what his favourite forum is...
I'm considering an L200 as a dual purpose motor for my new venture (rather than have a car and a van) but all the truckman style tops I've seen have windows in them, does anyone know if you can get a more secure one, i.e. More like a van?
Something like this, you may be able to order it with a solid rear door, if not, tint window, fit mesh or replace window with solid plate?.
