After knurling do you leave as is, turn or file the burrs off?

I usually just chamfer the ends of the knurl.

You're still cutting dry?

Much better results with cutting oil. You want those peaks to meet up at a point.

Who said it was dry? I was using wd40.

Your bottom wheel doesn't seem to be doing very much, you've a predominantly top wheel knurl. In a perfect world the knurling should come to a nice clean point. Chamfer each end as already suggested.

I didn't say you were, I used an interrogation point at the end of the sentence to enquire.

I assume that would be fine for aluminium but that looks like steel from here. Needs cutting oil.
