Just been watching some good documentaries on Youtube. Killer tanks. Made with the help of Bovingdon I think.

They pop up when ever there is something tank related on the television. The Americans for some bizarre reason, never run the tanks they have, many have been sectioned to show the insides of the vehicle, they more destroy them than preserve them. But the Bovingdon set up really do amazing work restoring tanks.

joe Pieczynski is good he is heavy on lathe work and explains things well. Does it along side his shop work.

I used to subscribe to waffenschmiedinx, who despite the name is an amazingly talented American woman machinist. I liked the things she made, sometimes having to make the tools to make the things first. She's one if you are interested in firearms. Sadly she has not posted anything in a while.

You know what, I watch too much YouTube and don’t get out to the shed enough. Apart from Bigf00t or whatever, I subscribe to every single one of the channels above!

agree about the Abom nonsense but I still watch anyway, you can always skip to the end. Thankfully you can also skip through Rucker who repeats everything ten times and Fenner with his bloody USA tosh.

I honestly built an entire system here to record, edit upload etc. but just can’t get myself to the point where I am able to actually do anything. Anyhow, if you think you’ve seen eBeggars on YouTube, trust me, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

I have just watched Keith's Video.
The Man I enjoyed a steak, and several beers with in America was not there.
It was Keith that got me started doing you tube video.
What upset me most was the fact that he had ads running on this video.

@mrsbruce thank you for reminding me about blondihacks! I watch her as well as the Boost. She is excellent. Her channel is of the highest standard.

I like This Old Tony too, so ok I do like some Americans. With the likes of Rucker I just get absolutely pig sick of the "now I'll just dunk this big widget in a skip sized container of EVAPORUST - Yes that's what I said EVAPORUST..." I know the yanks are very used to product placement. I just think to my British ears at least it is vulgar and crass.

One of the reasons I like the Boost is because I don't have a Rucker/Summers barn sized shop full of massive Monarch lathes that have just happened to fall into my lap. John's shop is like mine and his lathe is like mine and the things he does are similar to what I do. He just does them infinitely better than me.

As for Keith fenner, The guy is going through some bad stuff right now and he does put alot into his videos educating the masses, so on this occasion I think asking for a few quid to continue doing what he does isn't unreasonable ?
