Yes. I’ve tried a favourite session ale, Happy Chappy, from a pressurised keg and from traditional hand pump. Like two different beers.I use co2 in cornelius kegs to keep beer fresh, it last months that way. Low pressure so it doesn't carbonate it much so it's not over fizzy like carp keg lager when served.
Keg one is super gassy, which destroys the flavour, and makes you burp a lot (which is only good if you’re trying to burp the chorus to ‘she’ll be comin’ round the mountain’ all in one).
Hand pump/beer engine one is nice and creamy.
Having seen that, I’ve turned my homebrew keg pressures down to just 12 psi (60/40 CO2/N)
