A bit of checking on CAD verified that the 0.3mm gap was also consistent with a 18mm radius profile against a 16.85mm radius cover.













Good excuse to get an optical comparator.I had tried to establish the profile radius of my wheel, but it's not easy to measure because the blades are swept back so far and I couldn't find any drawing specifically for this wheel.

Hy Misterg, dont worry about balancing the rotor:The methode Kurt Schreckling described in his book works very well. I have balanced all my rotors in this way and
they all run absolut smoothly up to 115.000rpm (my personal limit) without any whistle (whistle is a sign of imbalance) since over 20 years. So keep your head up!
