For a one off, a pair of jump leads would be far easier.

If it's 24V and you only have 12V vehicles, stick them on a single battery for a known amount of time, then the other battery for the same length of time.

No vehicles are able to get near to the generator. I could run an extension lead to a charger but it's a shared site, with many people in and out. Could very easily go walkies.

a few of them where actually quite impressive,
bought dad one for Christmas a few years ago, but it never seemed to work properly!

Noco gbx75 - I have started a number of 110kva gens (6cyl Perkins), large swing Shovels and a 6cyl merc 4wd fire engine that had been left with the mast lights on all day - 24v but just put the Noco on one of the 12v and it started.

In that case then a mains starter charger would be my go to.
Fit it on charge for an hour then use the starter function.
Assuming you can allow an hour on site to charge.

Or take bats to base & charge over night.

They are a bit out of range but can vaporized any under 16mm2.
Really beefy.

I charged it with my 300A tig/stick within 1 minute.
Only one time. After that my welder blows up.
Imbalances because of different capacitors. My fault.

These Maxwell ultracaps are incredible.
They can deliver more than 3000 CCA.

I’ve got a sip branded version of this I keep in the lorry. I did replace one of the batteries in it as it got a point that it would only charge up to the 50% light. Very rarely gets used but it can always be relied on

The NOCOs are serious jump packs. Amazon sell them.

Otherwise i'd just get a couple 019/020 batteries and leads and make my own jump pack. Mate's workshop used to have a sack trolley with 4 019s on it, you could start anything with it and crank engines for days.

I always use a Bosch 013 battery and a short set of jump leads.

(Bosch 013 battery is 800CCA and got a nice handle on them)

I lied - one of the batteries died on the lorry and this was the first time that the booster let me down, I hadn’t charged it for a long time so kind of my own fault.
