Does it dry nice and hard like real 2k? I want to use it for inside of doors and under bonnet, engine bay etc before I send the car for paint to keep the cost down a bit.
Seems to have a nice hard finish. Did a paint repair with black 2k a couple of weeks ago, was pretty damn hard to rub down the overspray the next morning! Should be fine for what you want. Normal primer, then 2k aerosol, goes on quite nice too. Cans have an 8 hour shelf life once activated but dries in an hour or so.
I've normally been painting plinths at work with 2 pack paint, applying with a hand roller. Had a look at the cans today and they only mention containing acetone related products, no specific mention of isocyanates...
if its a 2k aerosol it will have isocyanates, bare in mind if you do the door shuts with the aerosols the chances are it wont match what the bodyshop puts on
