Hi there, I'm new to this forum and recently acquired a jasic Tig 200p (pulse / DC only not the fancier AC / DC model).
I am currently in the process of learning the basics of Tig welding with the standard 2t /4t button on the torch, although in the future I want to learn how to use a foot pedal.
However my machine only has a 2 pin remote connection socket (xs-12?) which works fine for the torch (where it only has to send an on / off signal) but I don't think it will work for a foot pedal (or at least I haven't been able to find one with _only_ a 2 pin socket)
The instruction manual for my machine (which is a 2016 model if that helps) confusingly states that it can be used with a foot pedal but doesn't elaborate on how or which foot pedals it is comparable with.
The newer manual for the machine states that newer models now have a 5 pin instead of 2 pin remote connection socket.
I was just wondering if there was any way of retrofitting a 5 pin socket to my machine or if there was some weird 2 pin foot pedal that I haven't heard about that I could use instead.
I've included a photo on my machine with the 2 pin socket for reference.
Charlie.
