I wish I couldve gone further and stripped it back to a bare shell tbh, but that would be a nightmare on the drive
The next project will be something a lot less complex to do that.
Failed the MOT unfortunately, rear drivers side handbrake inoperative,
The garage popped the caliper and disk off, and found the cable doesn't do anything when the handbrakes pulled.
Ordered a new cable, they can fit it, for £30 it's not worth me bothering jacking the car up
All good otherwise, just needs the tracking setting up properly now.
Tyre pressures okThat didn't last long
The issue I think I've had is I put too much clear down to get the shine right off the gun, with it also being a slower drying non iso, caused abit of a mess.
The crazing dissapears after sanding down the clear but I'm going to the cars original base coat,I think I'll be fairly safe to continue then, full car to bare metal will be abit too much for me.
Bootlid is far too gone though, and is taking far too long to sand down, seems to be covered in fish eyes and clogging disks after seconds, being a replacement when I fixed the rear, may have had a silicone wax or something applied, I'm scrapping it and just grabbing another one and starting again.

There's also a fairly prominent consistent pull to the left I need to investigate, everything's new underneath so it's puzzling.

There is normally a manufacturers tolerance which your measurements may be within . Another easy check is to measure the wheelbase each side , surprising how many cars have different measurements
