Multi tool, be careful, lots of swearing when it goes wrong
Yep, got a Screw Fix ( Clarke ) special similar to the above with variable speed for about £48 including half a dozen blades & comes in a reasonable plastic carrying case that can hold a lot of spare blades & the Allen key for it in a strong poly bag.
The swan neck hard point blades 15 & 20 mm are brill for removing ....chop chisel wood removal , removing coving by going flat up the wall and flat across from the ceiling then chop it horizontally & vertically to take out a six or so inch long length at a time so you don't have a tremendous lever ready to tear the ceiling or wall apart as it crashes to the ground .
They are also great to under cut special tiles in the kitchen if the kitchen fitters didn't tile behind but up to the extractor hood they put in & you have to put a new extractor in . I only had to bust one tile sorting out my new extractor hood and tiles the back up so it now sits on the tiles , making the next replacement extractor & hood a total doddle.
I've put a three pin push connector ( L. E. N. ) on the power cable inside the chimney of the hood , so it is easy to remove and sort the electrics on the work bench top before you put the new one on the wall .
It's worth getting several different extra blades too cos it's bloody annoying needing a new one when your part way through the job and the shop is 15 miles away .
I'd hit a hidden row of filled over & painted 4 mm hardened turbo chipboard screws , it cut the first OK , struggled through the second & polished the third only 8 more to go .. used up all the blades by screw number 5 .
There are also off set titanium & aluminium oxide cutting plates you can buy singly or in a set that can cut easily through soft mortar or plaster , thin tiles , aluminium & brass .
I reckon as I've got older & past life / injuries have caught up with me the multitool has become the first " Go to " tool after my 100 mm Hitachi angle grinder.
