Warren - Yours installed, ran for an hour, found 8 of them trojan jobbies, shot them dead, and a few other bits that sounded nasty. Finished, turned everything off and on - Tested it with google and its still redirecting to crap spam **** sites.
Jim - Thought i'd give yours a go then - Similarly to the others, i think the virus is stopping it connecting to the internet, so it won't download/open.
The windows open, i've had enough, it's going out now. I am very good at fixing things that can be seen, and with tools. Things like this annoy me.
I've got the full download and "teamviewer", I can remote access your pc tomoz evening if you want and "transplant" it in and run it if you want to give it a try...
I admire your perseverance Paul! I'd have given up long ago and taken Snowy's advice. Diesel if you're safety conscious, petrol if you want to liven things up a bit!
My desktop was acting up last summer so I got antispyware which has a scanner on the first scan it got enough trojans defeat the Greeks and probably take over the world
but it doesn't stop them coming in but puts them in jail when I scan
ComboFix sorted it for me and SuperAntiSpyWare both free on the internet to download. Fixed in about 20 mins. dont forget to get a decent free anti virus program.
