Stopping on a slip road is illegal unless the main carriageway is at a standstill or crawling speed. Allowing a vehicle to enter the main carriageway by moving into the middle lane , if clear to do so , is not only courteous but better for traffic flow.
I am sick and tired of selfish , muppet , inadequate , dogmatic , twonk etc drivers who fcuk up the whole road system for us.
Most traffic jams are caused by drivers who just can't anticipate and therefore unnecessarily hesitate at junctions , roundabouts etc. In the rush hour , it only takes each driver approaching an intersection to hesitate more than needed by only a few seconds to cause a stooopid queue !!
Which brings me onto another irrational dislike :-

The school run !!

There aint much worse than a woman who doesn't do much more than drop kids off and shop in a virtual minibus behaving like a mobile chicane everywhere they go !!
This futile procedure happens twice a day ffs !!

Traffic on the carriageway has priority, and joining traffic SHOULD be prepared to slow or stop to accomodate the conditions of the main carriageway.

However I do agree with the school run, they are obnoxious self centred morons who think they have a brat on board makes them immune from the rules of the road.
Especially the ignorant arrogant pratts who drop off jeremy and jehmima at Highfield school who think nothing of barging their way down a narrow road in their rangies and xc90s, my battered old disco just carries the scars with pride, theirs just look tatty with the scrapes, bangs and dents.

BBC Tv. weather forecasting (as with so many other things) fell victim to 'dumbing-down'; consisting of "for many/for a few", vacuous reminders to "button up" and wasted time on where/when football or rugby matches begin etc.
I want to hear about wind strength/direction, trends, temps., pressures and what`s happening out in the Atlantic.

Not me but the mother in law is petrified of velcro and the noise it makes etc.
The first time I visited them she nearly passed out from the noise as I unvelcro'd the zip covers on my bike boots...
I do send the kids round there in their velcro shoes as theyre too young to tie laces and maybe they have velcro up coats and stuff too. Ive always found it so amusing I do admit to devilment over it. My wife had to stop me hiring her a velcro fly on the wall game for her birthday party

Thing is, she's starting to become immune now due to the "therapy" and even has velcro shoes herself , see what a helpful chap I am?

Damn right... I made the effort to learn what isobars mean and would like to make my own mind up, but no, never mind the Atlantic where the weather comes from, let's hear if it's going to rain in London...

I use the internet for my weather as does everyone else who relies on it for their work. You wonder why they can't have isobars and occluded fronts in the background while a big busted lady sticks on the sunny or rainy stickers.

I should be a (highly paid) consultant for the BBC - easy one to sort.
